Zoe told me what happened in school when I
picked her up this evening. In today’s PE class, the teacher mentioned about
modesty dress. Then she said there was a female athlete she dressed over
revealing and she is a Mormon.
At that time, most of her classmates didn’t
know much about religion. One student turned her head to ask Zoe what is
Mormon, so she whispered to her “Mormon" in Chinese. Then the teacher stopped
and seemed to thought of one thing. She asked is anyone Mormon. She thought
there won’t be any Mormon in the school, especially almost of them are Asian
people. Then Zoe raised her hand up. The teacher felt embarrassed and
apologized to Zoe that she should not criticize Mormon. She said there was one
student gave her a book of Mormon before. I guess is Alice Bailey.
Zoe has complained that many Korean girls
wear short skirts or pants to school. I guess that’s why the teacher wants to
talk about modesty dressing. I am grateful that our church teaches our young
women to dress modestly. Jello 12/12/2017
